Accounts and purchases
We use your email address, account details and purchase records to provide your library, deliver software, process free upgrades and help with support requests. Account authentication and purchase records are managed using Supabase. Password authentication is handled by the authentication service; we cannot see your password.
Orders are sold through Onelink, the merchant-of-record service operated by Stripe, which processes payments and handles tax, receipts and payment support. RivenFX receives order and payment-status information, including the customer email, amount and payment reference. Full card numbers and security codes are entered into Stripe’s checkout and are not stored by this website. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
Free downloads and emails
We verify your email to provide download access and your account. Scope Lite is a welcome gift when you subscribe to RivenFX emails. Demo requests include an option to decline marketing; choosing it does not affect demo access. Where applicable, we rely on the products and services soft opt-in and our legitimate interests to email demo users about our own similar products. Scope Lite subscriptions use your consent.
We record the wording you saw, your choice, its date and email confirmation. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link that works without signing in. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails and leaves your account, downloads and Scope Lite access intact. Essential account and download messages are separate from marketing.
Plugin activation
Activation records include your licence key, a machine identifier, an optional machine label and activation/deactivation dates. These records are used to issue signed licence files and manage the allowed number of machines. A licence file can include your name or email and the products it unlocks. Keep licence keys and files private.
The plugin verifies its saved licence locally. Your music, audio recordings and MIDI compositions are not sent to the licensing service for activation.
Cookies and technical information
Essential authentication cookies keep you signed in and support account security. This version of the storefront does not load Google Analytics or create visitor-tracking identifiers. Hosting and service providers may process request information, including IP addresses and technical logs, to operate and protect their services.
Why information is used
Account, purchase and activation information is used to fulfil your purchase and provide support. Records may also be retained to meet accounting and other legal obligations, handle disputes and prevent fraud. Service providers process the information needed for their role; we do not sell your personal information.
Your requests
Contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information. Some purchase records may need to be retained for legal obligations. Account deletion can affect access to downloads and activation management; we will explain the effect when handling your request. You may also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority.
Changes
Changes to this policy will be published here. Material changes affecting account holders will be communicated where required.
